Koreanskt Kulturcenter and King Sejong Institute Gothenburg together are holding the 2025 세종학당 한국어 말하기 대회, 2025 King Sejong Institute Korean Speech Contest.
📌 Contest Overview
Contest Name: 2025 King Sejong Institute Korean Speech Contest
Organizers: King Sejong Institute at the Korean Cultural Center in Sweden, King Sejong Institute in Gothenburg (Co-hosted)
Date & Time: Saturday, May 17, 2025, 14:00 - 16:00
Venue: 1st Floor, Korean Cultural Center in Sweden
Programs: Speech contest, Presentation by the previous year's winner about her visit to Korea, Award Ceremony, and Korean food experience.
🎁 Awards (subject to change)
1st Place: A cultural experience program in Korea (including airfare and accommodation, approximately one week) + A semester (2025 Autumn) of Free admission to one Sejoing Korean Language Course
2nd Place: SAMSUNG Galaxy Book4 Laptop
3rd Place: SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S9 FE
All Participants: Korean cosmetics set
📢 The 1st place winners will automatically be invited to participate in the final round during their visit to Korea. If they win the final, they will be awarded a free language study program at a university in Korea.
📌 Preliminary Round Details
Eligibility: Anyone who wants to join, living in Sweden (except for native Korean speakers, and those who have native Korean-speaking parents)
Topics: Choose one of the following:
내가 가장 좋아하는 한국어 표현과 그 이유 (My favorite Korean expression and why)
가장 인상 깊었던 세종학당 수업 (The most memorable King Sejong Institute class)
Speech Length: 2 to 5 minutes
📌 How to apply: Register first, then send us your speech in a text!
1) Firstly Fill in the application form by the latest 1st of May.
2) After the application, send us your speech text by the latest 1st of May.
*Speech script in both Korean and Swedish (2 files)
